The internal material selection includes all build finishes such as architraves, cornices, skirtings, paint finishes and colours. Choice of doors, handles and locks, joinery finishes for kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and bedroom cupboards which also comprises handles, benchtops, splashbacks and any other chosen elements. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures are also chosen, including porcelains, tapware and accessories. Selections are also made for all flooring finishes, be it tiles, carpet, wood or laminate floorboards.

This allows the builder to have a clear view of each area that the various finishes will be applied. The allocation of materials is colour coded on the floor and elevation drawings marking out each area where each finish is applied.
